B & L Cox Electrical has served the Murraylands and surrounding areas for the past 26 years.
B & L Cox Electrical started as a one-man enterprise and has grown into a thriving business employing fourteen locals that are working within the regions leading industries.
Brett Cox the owner of B & L Cox Electrical began learning his trade in 1981 with Mega Electrical. Between 1986 – 1991 he went on to work for Nilsen Electrical which included fitting and maintenance electrical work. Brett started to be approached by people wanting work done so he decided it was time to step out on his own. During that time he still did contracting work for Nilsen Electrical, which later became PDL industries which helped him with the start-up of his own business.
Brett began to repair, maintain, install, upgrade industrial machinery and build control boxes for specialised equipment, initially on his own. Within a year, Ingham’s contract growers started to approach him interested in utilising the expertise he had working within the industry. With an increased customer base, wiring up many things from chicken sheds to feed mills, Brett had to employ more locals. B & L Cox Electrical began to grow from there.
